These are excellent miss for the price. Every bit as goos as the Shure product. Totally recommend.

Great mic for guitars
I bought 3 of these to use for micing guitars. They really sound crisp and clean. I've never heard an SM57 mic, so I don't know how to compare sound quality. I like them and I may get more later for church sound system.

Happy happy!
I'm happy to discover how robust these mic are from both a sonic and construction standpoint , to my eyes they're even more solid than the more well known product , which I also own. I need about 6 more of these!!

Performs just like an SM57
Purchased a couple of these because you always need an extra instrument and/or vocal mike. Decided to try GLS and save a few bucks - glad I did. These sound and perform just like Shure SM57s for $100 each - in fact I think they are a bit warmer in the midrange. Dialed them in on my QSC Touchmix 16 board as Shure microphones and the pre-built EQ worked perfectly. These are also good for vocals for drummers who sing - their tighter pattern reduces splash noise from cymbals, etc. during singing and as a bonus you can rotate out the boom stand when the drummer isn't singing and pick up additional, desired splashes! Great mic and a great value. Thank you GLS!

Best mics at this price
I started with one, now I own nine ES57s being used for a kids choir, great sound , using condensers won't work for our setup so this was a great solution

Excellent Quality
Never mind the price....this is a fantastic microphone. Feels right, weighs right, sound is incredible! Why wouldn't you want to use this mic.....I've been involved with live and studio work for 36 years.

Awesome Mic for the Money
I was told by an engineer from Shure that I should check these out for a budget home studio. He was right! They are not quite as hot as a Shure SM57, but if you turn up the gain a little bit, they sound really quite good. Some of them (I have 5) are not as consistent in terms of the level needed on gain (higher, lower depends on the individual mic) -- but if you're not recording at Abbey Road, these are pretty darn good!

Super Value
The ES-57 sounds great and is a super value at this price. Time will tell how well it holds up on the road and in the studio.
